Eligible For RYT-200 Certification & Yoga Alliance

Yoga Alliance is a global organization that supports yoga schools and practitioners around the world. It provides resources and backing for both students and teachers. The Yoga Alliance directory includes over 25,000 registered yoga teachers and schools that adhere to internationally recognized training standards.

Satvik School is a Yoga Alliance-certified institution. Upon completing certain programs, such as the 200-hour, 300-hour, or 500-hour yoga teacher training courses, students receive certification from an RYS (Registered Yoga School). This qualifies them to register as certified yoga teachers with the Yoga Alliance, earning designations like RYT-200 or RYT-500.

The RYT-200 certification grants you a globally recognized credential, signifying your expertise and training. This international certification assures potential clients and employers of your qualifications, meeting the high standards set by the Yoga Alliance.

Note: The 100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course is an introductory program where students study alongside those enrolled in the 200-hour training. After completing the first half of the 200-hour curriculum, students will have the option to return at any time to complete the second half, but only at Satvik School. Once both halves are completed, students will receive their 200-hour yoga certification, making them eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance.

What Is Yogic Diet?

Yoga believes the body is made of five elements and food also contains five elements and has six tastes. When we consume food that contains each element that is called a balanced diet or yogic diet. The whole science of Ayurveda is based on these principles. Everyone has different tastes. This is not only because of their habits but it is because of what actually the body needs. When we consume food without proper knowledge of what our body needs, we create diseases. However, when we consume food that has all the necessary elements, we are healthy and satisfied.

Yogic food contains proper nutrients that the body needs to grow. Consuming too little or too much food is also very risky for our health, so a holistic diet is very important. Yogis always avoid tamasic food like meat, egg, etc. Avoiding tamasic food helps you become more flexible and compassionate. Listen to Guruji’s lecture on Vegetarianism.

A vegetarian or a healthy diet consists of green vegetables, fresh fruits, lentils, beans, plant-based oils like coconut, mustard, peanuts etc. This kind of food is easy to digest and makes us feel lighter, at peaceful, and conscious.

Every step is an opportunity to grow, do not let it pass you by
